We began our journey in Seattle a few weeks ago, and are looking to expand our culinary team with people who want to join an amazing culinary team. Our menu changes daily, and our cuisine styles cover the map (depending on what the chefs want to create), so the work is never boring.

Position is Monday – Friday days.

Executive Chef Requirements:
10+ years experience, most recently as Executive Chef or equivalent, running well-established fine dining establishments or high end catering.
Experience managing multiple locations via a central commissary a plus.
Experience designing a food service HACCP plan.
Marketing, press, and PR experience representing the dining establishment a plus.
Skill and techniques necessary to develop and execute menus across a wide culinary spectrum.
Dedicated team players with proven ability to lead and educate others.
Experience in-scale food production preferred, maintaining rigorous high quality and safety standards a must.
Strong palette and ability to develop food concepts from the ground up.
Expert in using local ingredients and cooking with the seasons.
In tune with all the latest food trends.
Is forever a student of food, always looking to expand knowledge base and skill set. It’s both an art and a science.
Strong foothold in local food community with close ties to purveyors and artisans a plus.
Proven expertise in inventory and food cost control.
Food Safety Manager Certification, or capable of obtaining it prior to starting.
Experience maintaining a food service HACCP plan.
Amazing communication skills, both written and verbal.
Tech savvy is a big plus. We like to solve problems and create opportunities with tech – even in the kitchen.
Researching and developing new menu concepts.
Executing the full-scale production of the Daily Menu.
Work with the Culinary Manager (CM) to plan weekly and daily menus.
Work with the marketing and photography team to deliver visual assets, written descriptions, and other marketing assets as needed.
Collaborate with the CM and other Resident Chef teams to break down the weekly menu’s production into efficient executable tasks.
Work with the CM and other Resident Chefs to order and maintain an inventory of high-quality ingredients.
Closely manage food costs.
Help maintain company’s HACCP plan and enforce food safety guidelines.
Work harmoniously with other Munchery departments on day-to-day basis and on various projects (Operations, Photography, Marketing, Engineering and Management).
